Importantly, Demeyne's focus is on airport design and planning and our commitment is to always provide a professional, expert service to our growing client base.

Michael Thompson - Senior Airport Civil Designer
Ad Dip Civil Eng, Land Eng, Cert Aeronautical Proc Des and Pans Ops.

Mike's significant experience within the Airport industry over 30 years has enabled Demeyne Aviation to acquire the position as one of Australia's premier Aviation consultancies. Mike spends most of his time in our Canberra office with regular monthly visits to our Brisbane office.

Jimmy Nguyen - Senior Aviation Civil Designer
B.Tech. Civil Eng. ADip Civil Eng.

Jimmy is based in our Brisbane office and has been working in the Aviation Industry for a few years with Gladstone Airport Redevelopment being one of his more recent accomplishments. He also has over nine years of experience in road design, specialising in road geometry, cross drainage, urban drainage, pavement design, quantities and drafting using engineering packages such as MX, 12D ACAD, PCDRAIN, CIRCLY and ESTIMATES. Jimmy is based in our Brisbane office.

Celeste Oringo - Trainee Design Draftsperson

Celeste is training to be an integral part of the Demeyne team. Celeste has a general understanding of CAD applications and is training to have an understanding of the airport environment including will be attending our OLS and PANS-OPS course in the very near future. Working within the Demeyne Aviation environment will fast track this knowledge and Celeste will become a valuable member of the aviation industry. Celeste’s key skills will include: airport civil design and planning; airport survery drafting; airspace development height assessments; research officer for operations; CASA / Airservices standards; CAD/GIS digital data specialist; and drawing office administration. Celeste is based in our Canberra office.

Catherine Kennedy - Business Manager

Catherine is the primary contact and lead coordinator for all Demeyne's key projects. Her position involves the coordination & monitoring of all projects; client relationships; business & marketing strategy development and staff recruitment. Catherine is based in our Brisbane office with regular monthly visits to the Canberra office.

Elizabeth La Palombara - Trainee Draftsperson

Elizabeth has a general understanding of the aviation industry through her previous studies and is being trained to have a deeper broad understanding of the complexities of the airport environment. Elizabeth has the following qualifications: Year 12 Certificate, 2010; commenced Certificate 3 in Spatial Information, CIT 2011; PANS-OPS Familiarisation Course, Demeyne Aviation, 2011.

Having attended one of our Instrument Approach & Landing Procedure familiarisation courses, Elizabeth now has a good understanding of the concepts behind instrument procedure design. Elizabeth is based in our Canberra office.

Alex Seip - Junior Aviation Civil Draftsman

Alex has a few years experience in drafting and is keen to learn all there is to know in the Aviation Sector. He is a valued member of our team who assists our Senior Aviation Civil Designer with all his drafting requirements.

Alex is based in our Brisbane Office .
